- 5) Configure your CallerID settings at Settings/CID
-
- To configure the following you must know how your Device (modem)
- outputs the CallerID information. To do this in CIM make sure CIM
- is using that Device and ask someone to call to you or call from
- a different line.
-
- After the call has been received AND if CIM did not display the
- caller number, examine the log CIM created to CIM:LOG/log.serial
- to find out the required keywords.
-
- o Nmbr is the key string before the actual number
- information, default is 'NMBR = '.

-
-
- If just 'RING' was received then make sure you have CallerID enabled
- in your modem. For example 'AT#CID=1' or 'AT#CID=4'. If you receive
- errors then try also the strings mentioned on 'Requirements'-page
- (CIM:DOCS/MANUAL/requirements.html).
-
- If still no CallerID info is received then make sure the
- phone company has enabled CallerID data transfer (Caller Id-service)
- from your local phone company. The service may also have
- a monthly charge.
-
-
- 6) Take a look also on the other Settings and remember to Save.
-
-
- 7) Copy the CIM executable icon from the position you installed CIM to
- WBStartup drawer (Sys:WBStartup) IF you want automatically start CIM on
- every startup.
-
- If you are planning to run CIM from a script, then you must remember
- to set the stack size at least to 8192.
